My name is Ira Rott, I am knit & crochet wear designer living in St Thomas Ontario Canada.
Knitting and Crochet are traditions in my family passed on from generations and I have been crocheting since I was about 10 y.o... That time I was very anxious to discover new stitches and techniques and I learned from my mom, grandma, great grandma and vintage magazines. Being a kid I made a lot of things by myself following pictures and charts. My crocheted lace doilies were showcased at exhibitions in my school all the time...
I started designing when my daughter was born, she is my biggest inspiration. With over 20 years of experience and 10 years designing, I have been privileged to have my designs featured in various magazines. I enjoy designing patterns and I believe that imagination is an endless road.
